Job summary

Harnham is seeking a capable QA Automation Engineer to shape automation within a fast-growing product business. You will design scalable automation frameworks for web, API and backend testing, using an AI-first approach to testing.

In a cross-functional squad, you will build UI and API test suites, ensure data accuracy, and drive automation across CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration with developers and product teams is essential to deliver reliable releases.

Qualifications

• Strong Java or Kotlin experience is essential.
• Commercial API testing experience using Rest Assured or Postman.
• UI automation experience using Selenium or Playwright.
• Experience testing both frontend and backend applications.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile environments.
• Ability to build automation frameworks rather than maintaining existing ones.
• Hands-on experience using Claude and/or N8N within engineering workflows.
• Experience leveraging AI to automate testing, generate test data, improve coverage and reduce manual effort.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve automated testing frameworks.
