Job summary

Reassured is hiring a QA Engineer to join our growing technology team in the UK. You will work across core applications to ensure quality with a mix of manual and automated testing, while advancing test practices with modern tooling and AI-led approaches.

You’ll contribute in an Agile setup, participating in planning, stand-ups and retrospectives, delivering high-quality releases with robust test coverage that impacts the business.

Qualifications

• Must have strong Selenium and Java experience.
• Solid API testing experience (Postman or similar).
• Good SQL / MySQL knowledge and data handling.
• Experience building or contributing to automation frameworks.
• Exposure to CI/CD environments and automated pipelines.
• Comfortable working in Agile teams and collaborating cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans across system, integration, UAT and regression phases.
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium (Java).
• Use AI-based testing tools to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Perform API testing with Postman and Rest Assured.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Identify, track and manage defects using Jira.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners and BAs to embed quality across the lifecycle.
• Use AI-driven testing tools to support test generation and data creation.
