Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd. is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a Leyland-based role within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing site. You will maintain and diagnose a range of production machinery, perform planned maintenance and respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience carrying out mechanical maintenance and fault-finding in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical maintenance, fault-finding and repairs on production machinery.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Respond to breakdowns and complete efficient repairs to keep production running.
• Contribute to safe and efficient site operations through reliability improvements.
