Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd. is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a leading FMCG manufacturing site in Lancashire. You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on high-speed production lines, focusing on uptime and reliability during a Monday–Friday days shift.

Key responsibilities include fault-finding, planned maintenance, and supporting production performance within a fast-paced environment. Benefits include pension, life insurance, gym access, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Hands-on electrical fault-finding experience.
• Recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical maintenance experience (motors, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics and hydraulics).
• Basic PLC fault-finding experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on automated production machinery.
• Perform fault-finding and root-cause analysis to minimise downtime.
• Execute planned preventive maintenance to sustain equipment reliability.
• Support production performance and uptime across the site.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives on the line.
