Job summary

Morgan Ryder Associates is recruiting for an Electrical, Control & Automation Engineer in Liverpool to drive automation upgrades and integration across a state‑of‑the‑art facility. You will support PLC/SCADA/HMI systems and lead continuous improvement in a highly automated environment.

You will mentor EC&I Technicians and collaborate with suppliers and engineering partners to improve reliability, efficiency and capability, contributing to manufacturing excellence and career growth.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of industrial automation and control systems in manufacturing.
Experience with PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment.
Knowledge of instrumentation, process control and industrial electrical systems.
Experience supporting automated production lines and robotic systems.
Structured approach to fault finding and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

Lead automation upgrades and system integration projects.
Troubleshoot activities across a highly automated production environment.
Support PLC, HMI, SCADA and control systems.
Drive continuous improvement and optimisation of automated equipment.
Collaborate with suppliers, integrators and engineering partners.
Mentor EC&I Technicians and support team development.
