Job summary
Morgan Ryder Associates is recruiting for an Electrical, Control & Automation Engineer in Liverpool to drive automation upgrades and integration across a state‑of‑the‑art facility. You will support PLC/SCADA/HMI systems and lead continuous improvement in a highly automated environment.
You will mentor EC&I Technicians and collaborate with suppliers and engineering partners to improve reliability, efficiency and capability, contributing to manufacturing excellence and career growth.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation and control systems in manufacturing.
- Experience with PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of instrumentation, process control and industrial electrical systems.
- Experience supporting automated production lines and robotic systems.
- Structured approach to fault finding and root cause analysis.
Responsibilities
- Lead automation upgrades and system integration projects.
- Troubleshoot activities across a highly automated production environment.
- Support PLC, HMI, SCADA and control systems.
- Drive continuous improvement and optimisation of automated equipment.
- Collaborate with suppliers, integrators and engineering partners.
- Mentor EC&I Technicians and support team development.
