Job summary

adi Group is seeking an Automation/Control Systems Engineer to design, develop and implement control systems for automated processes in Wirral. You will collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver safe, reliable automation solutions.

You will design PLC/HMI/SCADA systems, develop software for Rockwell and/or Siemens PLCs, and ensure timely delivery within budget while maintaining high standards. Open to junior and senior applicants.

Qualifications

Experience as a Control Systems Engineer in an industrial automation environment.
Designing, developing and programming PLC, HMI and SCADA control systems.
Experience with Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) and/or Siemens PLC platforms.
Strong understanding of industrial automation and control systems.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Liaising with clients to understand requirements and prepare engineering solutions and costed proposals.
Designing, developing and programming PLC, HMI and SCADA control systems.
Developing PLC control software for Rockwell and/or Siemens platforms.
Designing and implementing HMI and SCADA systems.
Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Working with electrical design, process safety and control software engineers on turnkey projects.
Supporting testing and commissioning and resolving control issues.
Working across sectors including food, beverage, chemical, marine and materials handling.
