Job summary

Morgan Ryder Associates is recruiting an EICA Engineer (Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation) to lead automation initiatives at a Liverpool facility. You will drive automation excellence, from PLC and SCADA to MES integration, and work with operations and engineering partners on major capital projects.

The role focuses on process instrumentation, VSDs and motor control, and digital transformation strategies to improve efficiency and reliability across the site.

Qualifications

Degree or higher in Electrical, Electronic, Automation or related engineering discipline.
Experience in manufacturing environments (industrial/process) is required.
Strong knowledge of PLC programming and control systems, SCADA, MES, instrumentation.
Experience delivering engineering projects and system upgrades, with problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Lead automation and process control improvements across the site.
Develop and support PLC, SCADA and MES systems.
Deliver engineering projects from concept through commissioning.
Drive reliability and operational efficiency improvements.
Provide technical leadership on instrumentation and control systems.
