Morgan Ryder Associates is recruiting an EICA Engineer (Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation) to lead automation initiatives at a Liverpool facility. You will drive automation excellence, from PLC and SCADA to MES integration, and work with operations and engineering partners on major capital projects.
The role focuses on process instrumentation, VSDs and motor control, and digital transformation strategies to improve efficiency and reliability across the site.

We are partnering with a highly successful and growing manufacturing business to recruit an EICA Engineer who will play a pivotal role in driving automation excellence across a modern production facility. This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of industrial automation, helping to deliver innovative engineering projects, optimise production performance and influence the future direction of site technology.
This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives on solving complex technical challenges and wants to make a real impact through automation, digitalisation and continuous improvement.
As the site's subject matter expert for Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation, you will lead the development and enhancement of advanced manufacturing systems, including:
You will be instrumental in identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability and manufacturing performance through automation-led solutions.
Working closely with Operations, Engineering and external technology partners, you will help deliver projects ranging from equipment upgrades and process improvements through to major capital investment and factory development initiatives.
You will be an experienced automation or controls engineer who combines strong technical expertise with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
Experience with Lean manufacturing, reliability engineering methodologies, FMEA or RCM would be advantageous.
