Job summary

Technical Partners is seeking a skilled Control Systems Engineer in Wirral to design, develop and implement automation solutions across multiple industries. You will work within a multidisciplinary team delivering turnkey projects from customer requirements through to implementation.

The role requires strong knowledge of PLC, HMI and SCADA systems, and hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell and Siemens platforms. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

Experience in control systems engineering or industrial automation.
Strong knowledge of PLC, HMI and SCADA systems.
Experience programming PLCs on Allen-Bradley/Rockwell and/or Siemens platforms.

Responsibilities

Liaise with clients to capture technical requirements and design solutions.
Prepare technical/costed proposals as needed.
Design, develop and program PLC, HMI and SCADA systems.
Develop PLC software for Rockwell/Allen-Bradley and Siemens.
Design and implement HMI and SCADA systems.
Collaborate with electrical design, process safety and control software engineers.
Ensure on-time delivery within budget and standards.
Troubleshoot issues across the project lifecycle.
Maintain focus on performance, reliability, quality and safety.
