Job summary

HALFORDS AUTOCENTRES LIMITED is offering an Autocare Technician apprenticeship (Level 2) across our network. You will train on traditional, hybrid and modern engines, gaining essential hands-on skills through a two-year programme with INSPIRO LEARNING LIMITED.

Working Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:30, with possible Saturday shifts. This apprenticeship provides a clear path to progression within Halfords’ service network and a real starting point in automotive engineering.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at minimum level 4/C.
• Interest in vehicle engineering and the automotive trade.

Responsibilities

• Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults.
• Test parts and systems to ensure correct operation.
• Follow checklists to inspect critical vehicle components.
• Assist with servicing and inspections and maintain a clean workspace.
