Job summary

Vertu Ford Orpington is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join a supportive team at one of the UK’s largest motor retail groups. You will be the bridge between customers and the workshop, ensuring customers feel informed, valued and confident throughout their visit.

The role emphasizes building relationships, clear communication, and creating a welcoming environment for customers, with a basic salary of £35,000 OTE £40,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry.
• Confident communicating with a wide range of people in a supportive, respectful manner.
• Proactive approach to meeting targets, time management and staying calm during peak periods.
• Confident using computer systems and managing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Setting clear expectations and guiding customers through each stage of their vehicle’s service or repair.
• Giving regular updates in a communication style that works best for the customer.
• Identify opportunities to offer additional products or services that may benefit the customer.
• Follow up after work is completed to ensure satisfaction.
