Job summary

LDA Care Ltd in Oswestry is recruiting Bank Support Workers to support a young man with autism, learning disabilities, ADHD and PICA on a 2:1 basis. Pay is £15.00 per hour, with full-time, part-time and bank roles available.

We seek positive, caring and proactive people with patience, empathy and strong communication skills. Experience with PBS or willingness to be trained, and a person-centred approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, or complex health conditions is desirable.
• Patience, empathy and great communication skills (verbal and non-verbal).
• Experience with PBS or a strong willingness to be trained.
• A person-centred approach — always putting the individual first.

Responsibilities

• Provide support during the good times and the difficult periods our individual faces in daily life.
• Be a positive advocate and consistent in actions and explanations.
• Work as part of a team delivering person-centred care in a family home.
