Job summary

Linwood School, Springwood Campus in West Howe, Bournemouth, invites applications for Teaching Assistants to support learners with autism and complex needs. Starting salary is within the BCP Band 5, pro-rated for the 30-hour week. Applicants should be resilient, capable of working with challenging behaviours, and able to communicate

Qualifications

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students to facilitate progress under the direction of the class teacher.
• Create a structured and nurturing environment that promotes student engagement.
• Assist and encourage students to remain on task.
• Offer emotional support using positive behaviour reinforcement.
