Job summary

Linwood School is seeking Teaching Assistants for Linwood Campus in Winton. The role is 30 hours per week during 39 weeks per year (term time + inset days). The salary is BCPSalary Band 5 (£20,122 - £22,190) pro-rated to 30 hours. A 6-month probation applies and on-site training sessions are provided. DBS and safeguarding checks are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people with learning difficulties is desirable but not essential.
• Commit to a minimum of two full days per week (12 hours).
• Resilience and effective communication using a range of tools.

Responsibilities

• Toileting and personal care support for students.
• Assistance with eating and drinking.
• Administering medication as required.
