Job summary

Linwood School is seeking a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join Springwood Campus, our autism-specific day provision. The post is 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (38 weeks term time + INSET days) and is paid on the BCP Council Band 7 scale (£26,318 per annum).

You will work with teachers to plan and deliver lessons, support pupils with autism and complex needs, and cover absence within your area. A 6-month probation period applies, with Monday after-school training sessions.

Qualifications

• Qualified HLTA and verification at interview.
• Experience working with SEND and autism preferred.
• Ability to plan and deliver lessons with support from teachers.

Responsibilities
