Job summary

TLTP Education in Redbridge is seeking an experienced SEN TA to support pupils with additional needs, predominantly ASD, within a mainstream primary setting’s alternative provision. The role focuses on 1:1 and small-group support to develop confidence and relationships.

You will work closely with teachers and the SEN team to create a calm, structured learning environment, adapting approaches to meet individual needs and supporting emotional regulation.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEN and ASD.
• Patient, caring and consistent approach.
• Able to remain calm in challenging situations.
• Strong ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
• Reliable with immediate start availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support in the provision.
• Support communication, social and emotional development.
• Help pupils access learning and build independence.
• Collaborate with teachers and the wider SEN team.
• Create a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment.
