Evolve Psychology is hiring a Speech & Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Huddersfield. This hybrid role supports neurodevelopmental assessments for autism and ADHD in children and young people, across NHS-funded referrals and private pathways.

You’ll conduct structured observations, take developmental histories via Zoom, contribute to MDT discussions, and deliver clear feedback and high-quality reports.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 1 year registration with HCPC/NMC/GMC/SWE.
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in children/young people.
• Strong understanding of DSM‑5 criteria for autism and ADHD.
• Trained in diagnostic tools such as ADOS‑2, ADI‑R, etc.
• Effective time management and caseload organisation skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and participate in diagnostic discussions.
• Highly developed written language skills for clinical reports.
• Excellent communication with children, young people and families.

Aufgaben

• Conduct face‑to‑face structured observations as part of the neurodevelopmental assessment process.
• Conduct remote developmental history interviews with parents/caregivers via Zoom.
• Participate in peer MDT diagnostic discussions guided by senior clinicians.
• Deliver clear, compassionate feedback to families.
• Produce accurate clinical reports including diagnostic formulations.
• Meet service KPIs and contribute to service improvement.
• Deliver clinical supervision where applicable.
• Potential to travel to a clinic base for in‑person assessments (hybrid).
