Job summary

Evolve Psychology Services is seeking a Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to deliver high-quality autism and ADHD assessments for children and young people, within NHS-funded referrals and private pathways. Join a multidisciplinary team providing timely, accurate diagnoses to support families.

You will contribute to comprehensive assessments, feedback, and reports using our digital tools. Full-time and part-time roles are available, with a minimum of three days per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of professional registration with one of regulatory bodies: HCPC, NMC, GMC or Social Work England.
• Minimum of 1 year’ experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in children and young people.
• In-depth knowledge of DSM-5 criteria for autism and ADHD.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and meet clinical deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face structured observations as part of neurodevelopmental assessments.
• Carry out remote developmental history interviews with parents/carers via Zoom.
• Participate in peer MDT diagnostic discussions with senior clinicians when needed.
• Deliver clear, compassionate feedback to families.
• Produce accurate clinical reports including diagnostic formulations with support from smart tools.
• Work to meet service KPIs and quality standards.
• Provide clinical supervision where applicable.
• Travel to a clinic base to conduct in-person assessments (hybrid only).
