Job summary

Evolve Psychology is seeking a Social Worker to join a multidisciplinary team in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. The role focuses on autism and ADHD assessments for children and young people, delivered through NHS-funded referrals and private pathways in a hybrid setup.

You will conduct structured observations, remote history interviews, and MDT discussions, delivering clear feedback and high-quality clinical reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year registered with HCPC, NMC, GMC or Social Work England.
• Experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in children/young people.
• Strong knowledge of DSM-5 criteria for autism/ADHD.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face structured observations as part of neurodevelopmental assessments.
• Conduct remote developmental history interviews with parents/careers via Zoom.
• Participate in MDT diagnostic discussions with senior clinicians.
• Deliver clear, compassionate feedback to families.
• Produce accurate clinical reports including diagnostic formulations with smart tools.
