Job summary

Evolve Psychology is seeking a Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to advance comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments for children and young people, including autism and ADHD. You will conduct structured observations, participate in MDT discussions, and deliver clear, compassionate feedback to families, using smart reporting tools.

You should have at least one year of professional registration and experience diagnosing autism/ADHD in youth; strong report writing and collaboration

Qualifications

• Mandatory 1 year registration with HCPC/NMC/GMC or Social Work England.
• At least 1 year diagnosing autism/ADHD in children/young people.
• In-depth knowledge of DSM-5 criteria for autism and ADHD.
• Experience using diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2 and ADI-R.
• Excellent time management and caseload organisation.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face structured observations as part of neurodevelopmental assessments.
• Conduct remote developmental history interviews via Zoom.
• Participate in MDT diagnostic discussions with senior clinicians.
• Deliver clear, compassionate feedback to families.
• Produce accurate clinical reports and diagnostic formulations.
• Meet service KPIs and participate in supervision where applicable.
• Travel to a clinic base for in-person assessments (hybrid).
