Job summary

Evolve Psychology is hiring a Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to conduct neurodevelopmental assessments for autism and ADHD in children and young people. The role involves face-to-face observations, remote history interviews, MDT discussions, and producing diagnostic reports.

We operate across NHS-funded and private pathways with a hybrid working model based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. A supportive multidisciplinary team and ongoing professional development are key features of

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of professional registration with HCPC, NMC, GMC or Social Work England.
• Minimum of 1 year’ experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in children and young people.
• Strong written and verbal communication within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face structured observations as part of the neurodevelopmental assessment process.
• Conduct remote developmental history interviews with parents and carers via Zoom.
• Participate in peer MDT diagnostic discussions, supported by senior clinicians.
• Deliver clear, compassionate feedback to families.
• Produce accurate clinical reports, including diagnostic formulations, with the help of smart tools.
• Work to meet service KPIs and contribute to clinical supervision where applicable.
• Able to travel to a clinic base for in-person assessments (hybrid only).
