Job summary

Cooper Parry is seeking an Audit Trainee for our London office. You will work on statutory audits for a varied client base, gaining hands-on experience from day one while pursuing ACA qualifications.

We value curiosity, resilience, and a drive to learn how businesses operate. The role supports graduates and school leavers on a defined career pathway with mentoring and real client exposure.

Qualifications

• Graduates: completed degree and at least 3 A Levels (BBC) including numerical or business subjects.
• School Leavers: same A Level requirements.
• Interest in Audit and qualification journey.
• Ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and documenting client information—invoices, bank statements, payroll reports.
• Assessing the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
• Attending client year-end stocktakes (sometimes weekends around Christmas).
• Speaking with client finance teams to understand their systems and processes.
• Assisting in preparing financial statements using our audit software.
• Working in small teams to carry out financial testing and contribute to audit reports.
• Meeting deadlines and supporting your team to deliver high-quality work.
