Job summary

Cooper Parry in Manchester is seeking ambitious graduates for an Audit Trainee role starting January 2027. You will gain hands‑on experience delivering statutory audits across a diverse client base and build skills that support your ACA qualification journey.

You’ll be part of a supportive team, with structured learning and exposure from day one, while balancing study commitments toward professional qualification success.

Qualifications

• Degree completed by start date or equivalent; evidence of ongoing study encouraged.
• Three A Levels graded BBC or equivalent, including one STEM or business subject.
• Interest in auditing and understanding how businesses work is essential.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and balance study with work commitments.

Responsibilities

• Review client information such as invoices, bank statements, and payroll reports.
• Assess accuracy and reliability of financial data.
• Attend client year‑end stocktakes (occasional weekends around holidays).
• Speak with client finance teams to understand processes and systems.
• Assist in preparing financial statements using our audit software.
• Work in small teams to carry out testing and contribute to audit reports.
