Job summary

Cooper Parry in Northern Ireland is seeking an Audit Trainee to join our Dungannon or Belfast office. From day one you’ll gain hands‑on experience delivering statutory audits for a varied client base and start your ACA qualification on a clear, supported path.

You’ll work in a tight‑knit team, develop technical skills, and be part of a culture that values growth, collaboration and impact, with a structured study plan and dedicated support from colleagues.

Qualifications

• Completed degree with BBC at minimum for graduates.
• A Levels required for school leavers (BBC) as stated.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and documenting client information — invoices, bank statements, payroll reports
• Assessing the accuracy and reliability of financial data
• Attending client year-end stocktakes (sometimes on weekends or around Christmas)
• Speaking with client finance teams to understand their systems and processes
• Assisting in preparing financial statements using our audit software
• Working in small teams to carry out financial testing and contribute to audit reports
• Meeting deadlines and supporting your team to deliver high‑quality work
