Job summary

Cooper Parry is seeking an Audit Trainee to kick‑start your career with hands‑on audits for a varied client base. You’ll study for the ACA while gaining practical experience across the Dungannon or Belfast offices, joining a tight‑knit team that values growth and curiosity.

You’ll complete your degree and 3 A Levels (BBC) while building skills in data testing, reporting, and client communication, with support from managers and a dedicated Student Support Manager. September 2027 start.

Qualifications

• Completed degree required or near completion.
• At least 3 A Levels graded BBC, including a numerical or business-related subject.
• Interest in pursuing ACA qualification alongside work.

Responsibilities

• Review and document client information such as invoices, bank statements and payroll reports.
• Assess accuracy and reliability of financial data.
• Attend client year-end stocktakes (weekends around Christmas possible).
• Communicate with client finance teams to understand systems and processes.
• Assist in preparing financial statements using audit software.
• Work in small teams to perform testing and contribute to audit reports.
