Job summary

Cooper Parry is recruiting an Audit Trainee in the Dungannon/Belfast area to deliver statutory audits for a varied client mix. You will gain hands-on experience from day one and work towards ACA qualification, supported by a close-knit team.

Graduates or School Leavers with the required A Levels will thrive in a fast-paced environment where numbers tell a story and development is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Completed degree and at least 3 A Levels (BBC) including numerical or business-related subject.
• School leavers with the same A Level requirements.
• Willing to study ACA Chartered Accountant Qualification.
• Ability to juggle priorities and work in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and documenting client information such as invoices and payroll reports.
• Assessing accuracy and reliability of financial data.
• Attending year-end stocktakes with clients.
• Discussing systems and processes with client finance teams.
• Assisting in preparing statutory financial statements with audit software.
• Collaborating in small teams to perform financial testing and audits.
• Meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
