Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audit and assurance, with the ability to manage audit assignments from planning through to completion. You will work closely with clients, developing strong relationships and ensuring that we deliver high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments for a diverse range of clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Plan and execute audits, including risk assessment and the development of audit strategies.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Review and finalize audit files, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to clients, building strong relationships and trust.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting and auditing standards, and provide insights to clients and the team.
• Assist with business development activities, including identifying new opportunities and participating in client pitches.

Requirements

• ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in audit within an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
