Audit Senior – Private Business Audit Team, London

Are you working towards your ACA/ACCA qualification and looking for your next challenge? We are seeking an Audit Senior to join our Private Business Audit team in London. Our culture is people‑first: we value relationships, curiosity and ambition. In this role you will assist partners and associate partners in managing and delivering statutory audit and accounts preparation services for our Owner Managed Business Client portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Plan audit assignments, identify key risks, design and review testing methods, and review budgets through to analytical review.
  • Lead audits, supervise, delegate and review trainee work.
  • Deliver timely information to clients while demonstrating in‑depth client and industry knowledge.
  • Identify cross‑selling opportunities.
  • Monitor stock takes, manage bank letter processes and complete Assignment Feedback Forms (AFF) where appropriate.
  • Communicate progress to management and plan for efficient completion.
Qualifications
  • ACA/ACCA part‑qualified or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a practice environment with privately owned businesses or a mixed portfolio.
  • Experience planning and completing audits and account preparation.
  • Experience using an analytical review process.
  • Experience delegating and reviewing trainee work.
