Forvis Mazars UK is seeking an Audit Assistant Manager to lead engagements from planning through completion. You will supervise junior staff, manage client communications and ensure timely, high-quality audit services across a diverse client base.

The role requires ACA/CA/ACCA (or equivalent), strong UK GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and proven leadership. You will work within a collaborative, inclusive team committed to quality and growth.

Qualifications

• Qualification in ACA/CA/ACCA (or equivalent) with external audit experience.
• Experience leading audit engagements from planning to completion.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP/FRS 102, IFRS and Companies Act.
• Ability to supervise and coach junior staff and manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple audit engagements from planning through completion.
• Supervise and coach junior staff, manage client communications, ensure timeliness and quality.
• Develop audit strategies, allocate resources, monitor budgets and billing.
• Draft key outputs and contribute to firmwide quality and risk controls.
• Build professional relationships with clients and cross-sell services where appropriate.
