Job summary

Forvis Mazars UK is seeking an Audit Assistant Manager (SN2) to lead multiple audits from planning to completion. You’ll supervise junior staff, manage client communications, and ensure high-quality, timely audit deliverables.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/CA/ACCA or equivalent with external audit experience.
• Experience leading audit assignments from planning to completion.
• Experience with mid-market, SMEs or privately owned businesses.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits for Mid-Market/SMEs from planning through to completion.
• Supervise and coach junior staff; manage client communications.
• Apply UK GAAP/FRS 102, IFRS, and Companies Act knowledge.
• Draft key reporting outputs; review with Managers/Partners.
• Monitor budgets; assist billing; identify value opportunities.
• Collaborate with other service lines and contribute to firm initiatives.
