Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK is seeking an Audit Assistant Manager to lead multiple engagement teams from planning through to completion. You will supervise juniors, manage client communications, and deliver high-quality audits for mid-market and privately owned businesses.

You will apply UK GAAP/FRS102, IFRS, and Companies Act knowledge, build lasting client relationships, monitor budgets, and contribute to coaching and development within a collaborative, inclusive firm.

Qualifications

• Experience leading audits from planning through to completion.
• Up-to-date knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS and Companies Act.
• Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and project timelines.
• Proven coaching and development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits for Mid-Market, SMEs and privately owned businesses from planning to delivery.
• Supervise and coach junior staff, allocating tasks and reviewing work.
• Maintain proactive client communication and manage expectations.
• Apply UK GAAP/FRS 102, IFRS, and Companies Act requirements.
• Monitor budgets, risks, and quality control throughout engagements.
• Collaborate across service lines to add value and drive firm growth.
