Job summary

Crowe Watson Recruitment is working with a well-established Birmingham firm to find their next Audit Assistant Manager. You will manage audit engagements from planning to completion, supervise junior staff, and foster strong client relationships while liaising with partners on technical matters.

Qualifications

• Experience in a UK practice environment.
• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Proven experience managing audit engagements and leading teams.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of audit clients from planning through to completion.
• Review the work of junior team members and provide constructive feedback.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the audit process.
• Support the training and development of audit juniors and seniors.
• Liaise with partners on technical and client matters.
