A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Manchester is offering an Audit Assistant Manager position. The role involves managing audit engagements, taking ownership of client relationships, and overseeing planning, fieldwork, and finalisation across a varied portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a UK Practice environment.
• ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Proven experience managing audit engagements and leading teams.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of audit clients from planning through to completion.
• Review the work of junior team members and provide constructive feedback.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the audit process.
• Support the training and development of audit juniors and seniors.
• Liaise with partners on technical and client matters.
