Ambition Europe Limited is seeking an experienced audit professional to join our senior leadership team near Cheltenham. You will own a broad client portfolio, lead on complex engagements, and advise on technical, commercial, and regulatory matters across industries.

The role offers responsibility for service delivery, remuneration planning, and guidance through significant corporate transactions, with opportunities in business development for both audit and non-audit work.

Qualifications

• ACA, CA, or ACCA qualified and eligible to work in the UK.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, ISAs, and Companies Act legislation.
• Proven track record in managing and growing client relationships.
• Confident, proactive self-starter with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit delivery for a portfolio of clients with turnover £1m–£100m, ensuring high standards of quality and service.
• Build trusted client relationships and advise on technical, commercial, and regulatory matters.
• Take full ownership of service delivery across the portfolio, including remuneration planning and group structure considerations.
• Guide clients through significant corporate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and fundraising processes.
• Play an active role in business development for audit and non-audit opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead audit delivery for a portfolio of clients with turnover ranging from £1m to £100m, ensuring consistently high standards of quality and service
• Build trusted, long-term client relationships, acting as the go-to adviser on technical, commercial, and regulatory matters
• Take full ownership of service delivery across the portfolio, including remuneration planning and corporate group structure considerations
• Guide and support clients through significant corporate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and fundraising processes
• Play an active role in business development, both through nurturing existing client relationships and pursuing new audit and non-audit opportunities

What We're Looking For

• ACA, CA, or ACCA qualified
• Solid and current technical knowledge across UK GAAP, IFRS, ISAs, and Companies Act legislation
• Confidence in business development and a demonstrable track record of managing and growing client relationships
• A proactive, self-sufficient working style, with the ability to take ownership and make sound decisions independently

Nice to Have

• Experience managing a diverse client portfolio across multiple sectors
• Exposure to corporate finance or transactional advisory work within a practice setting
