Job summary

Wipro in London is seeking a 3rd Level Audio Visual-Unified Communications engineer to deploy and support our global AV/UC estate.

You will lead implementations of AV/VC/UC and telephony products, including Ring Central, Cisco Telepresence, Zoom, Teams, and Webex, and provide end-user support.

The role requires strong project deployment experience, collaboration across global teams, and the ability to troubleshoot video issues and drive service improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in audio-visual implementations and videoconference network engineering.
• Experience with Cisco endpoints and infrastructure (Control Hub).
• UC infrastructure with Ring Central, Webex, and collaboration platforms (Zoom/Teams).
• Strong infrastructure implementation and project deployment experience.
• Experience with A/V concepts, routing, cabling, and production devices (Ross, Blackbox, Dante).

Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise network audio-video-related projects.
• Troubleshoot video issues on network and report progress on various projects and installations.

• Follow, review, and recommend process changes and standards for design and documentation where necessary.
• Plan and coordinate the expansion of video and voice network technology; perform Unified Communications upgrades and installs.
• Interface with Projects and Infrastructure teams, site walkthroughs, design, ordering equipment, receiving and installing equipment, and provide support model for end-to-end management.
• Collaborate with Operations and Production on events, exhibitions and special projects related to builds and changes.
• Executive Level Support (C Level, VP, Directors) for unified communication matters.
• Provide local and remote collaboration support; resolve issues with remote users and existing video conferencing equipment.
• Tier 3 end user support for all Unified Communications (collaborative apps and video), troubleshooting on integrations and support A/V designs in video conference rooms and offices.

Job description

The Audio Visual-Unified Communications 3rd Level will deploy and support our Audio Visual and Unified Communications global estate. The candidate will work with our managed services to lead implementations of technically appropriate AV/VC/UC & Telephony products (Ring Central).

Responsibilities:

• Manage enterprise network audio-video-related projects.
• Troubleshoot video issues on network and report progress on various projects and installations.
• Drive the adoption of video conferencing service usage via Zoom, Teams and/or Webex.
• Follow, review, and recommend process changes and standards for design and documentation where necessary.
• Plan and coordinate the expansion of video and voice network technology. Perform Unified Communications software and hardware upgrades, including the installation of video conferencing and A/V equipment
• Interface with Projects and Infrastructure teams, site walkthroughs, design, ordering equipment, receiving and installing equipment, and provide support model for equipment (end- to-end management). Provide project status on a regular basis as project team requires.
• Collaborate with Operations and Production departments in support of Events, Sales, exhibitions and special projects related to build outs, renovations, adds, moves and changes.
• Executive Level Support (C Level, VP, Directors) for unified communication matters
• Provide local and remote collaboration support; work with remote Desktop support to resolve issues, work with remote users (internal and external) to successfully connect with existing video conferencing equipment and communicate services between and across different groups and levels internal and external to the organization.
• Tier 3 end user support for all Unified Communications (collaborative applications and video), ability to perform troubleshooting on integrations and support A/V designs in existing and future video- conference rooms and offices.

Skills Required:

• Strong years of experience in audio-visual implementations and/or videoconference network engineering with Cisco Telepresence infrastructure.
• Experience with Cisco endpoints and infrastructure (Control Hub)
• UC infrastructure (Ring Central)
• Experience with Webex administration and other web/audio collaboration platforms and services, specifically Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
• Strong infrastructure implementation and project deployment experience
• Experience in supporting system migrations and experience with AMX and/or Crestron AV Control systems. Working knowledge of A/V concepts around audio and video signal types, routing, and cabling, including Production devices i.e. Ross,Blackbox, Dante, Matrox.
• Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Proven ability to drive successful results across multiple functional areas
• Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment globally
• Well versed in Desktop technologies (Windows 10, Macintosh and Office 365) Collaboration technologies (WebEx, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive), Server Technologies and Network Technologies.
