Charles Darwin Primary School and Nursery in Norwich is seeking an Attendance Officer to join our team. Based in the main school office, you will promote attendance and punctuality, support pupils with casework, and liaise with families and agencies to intervene as needed.
You will have GCSEs in Maths and English, be IT literate, and capable of managing deadlines with strong communication. The role is 37 hours per week, 39 weeks, from November 2026, with generous benefits through Inspiration
Salary: Support Staff Pay Scale F: £25,949 to £28,149 pro-rata per annum (Actual) (£29,542 - £32,046 full time/full year equivalent)

We are seeking a reliable, proactive and efficient Attendance Officer to join the team at Charles Darwin Primary.
The successful candidate will help our students achieve success by working with students, families, staff and other agencies to support and intervene with student attendance.
You will have excellent organisational skills and confidence in communicating with a range of different stakeholders, including students and parents.
You will be someone who is able to work on your own initiative and with minimal supervision, can meet deadlines by effective planning and time management, and have good communication skills, both written and spoken to internal and external stakeholders.
