Job summary

West Nottinghamshire College Group is seeking an Attendance Administrator to monitor and chase students' attendance, and to coordinate intervention sessions between learners and curriculum staff. You will work with autonomy to contact students with low attendance and to generate attendance reports.

The role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of office technology packages (word processing, databases, spreadsheets).
• Understanding of barriers that affect attendance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and chase students' attendance; make initial contact with students whose attendance is a concern.
• Provide reports on attendance and arrange intervention sessions between students and curriculum staff.
• Coordinate initial contact with all learners with low attendance; liaise with curriculum and support teams across college.
