Job summary

NoteMachine, part of Brink's, is seeking a Field Service Engineer for the Birmingham area to maintain and repair our nationwide ATM network. You will work in the field, combining technical expertise with strong customer service to ensure maximum uptime and exceptional service for customers.

Responsibilities include fault diagnosis, routine maintenance, and efficient on-site repairs, with a structured rota and opportunities for career progression within the Brink's group.

Qualifications

• Field service engineering experience with electro-mechanical equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence with ≤6 penalty points.
• Willingness to travel within your region and work weekends/bank holidays.
• Resident within the Birmingham postcode area.
• Able to pass background screening.

Responsibilities

• Carry out second‑line break‑fix repairs and preventative maintenance across our ATM estate.
• Diagnose faults and resolve technical issues efficiently and safely.
• Deliver high levels of customer service during every site visit.
• Work closely with customers to minimise downtime and maintain service performance.
• Accurately record repairs, parts usage, and service activity.
• Complete quality checks to ensure repairs meet company standards.
• Participate in ongoing technical and professional development training.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, health & safety standards, and security protocols.
