Qualifications

• Experience working with students with disabilities and/or autism in school and community settings preferred.
• Experience with experiential, activity-based, or vocational learning preferred.
• Demonstrate dedication to all learners, especially those historically marginalized.
• Commitment to lifelong professional learning and growth.
• Support positive learning environments and collaborative learning.
• Build strong relationships with students, peers, families, and community partners.
• Assist with use of technology to support instruction (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365).

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional and student support under supervision of teachers and vocational staff.
• Reinforce learning in reading, language arts, mathematics, and computer skills.
• Assist with classroom prep, materials, and strategies aligned to student needs.
• Collect and document student data related to academic, behavioral, and vocational goals.
• Support administration of state and district assessments.
• Contribute to IEP processes and support evaluation teams.
