Job summary

Ark Charter Academy is seeking a Vocational Learning Coach to support students within our Pathways Provision, delivering and assessing vocational qualifications and guiding learners in developing life and career skills. You will work with staff, parents, and external partners to ensure tailored guidance and successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering and assessing vocational qualifications (AQA Awards, ASDAN, BKSB, Prince’s Trust, Functional Skills).
• Commitment to alternative education and hands-on learning approaches.
• Experience in intervention training to support students at risk of disengagement.
• Ability to help students develop life and career skills (resilience, teamwork, leadership, communication).
• Experience coordinating work placements and liaising with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and assess vocational qualifications within the Pathways Provision.
• Support students with work placements and real-world learning experiences.
• Collaborate with staff, parents and external partners to tailor guidance.
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging vocational lessons and interventions.
