Job summary

Marrons in Nottingham is seeking an Associate or Associate Director to join our transport planning team. You will lead projects, mentor junior staff and help shape our regional growth.

The role offers hybrid working, a collaborative multi-disciplinary environment and exposure to residential, commercial, energy and large SUE schemes across the UK. Applicants should have significant transport planning experience and strong client relations.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in the transport planning industry.
• Excellent technical and design skills and report writing ability.
• Relevant degree qualification in Transport Planning, Geography or Civil Engineering.
• Use of AutoCAD, TRICS, JUNCTIONS and LINSIG modelling software desirable.
• Experience of planning appeals desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from a transport planning perspective and collaborate with internal Marrons teams.
• Review Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and Feasibility Studies.
• Provide high‑level advice to clients at project inception and through delivery.
• Attend client meetings and public consultations.
• Contribute to winning new work and business development.
• Mentor junior staff within the team.
