Job summary

Ampa Holdings LLP seeks an Associate/Associate Director Transport Planner to lead transport planning projects in Nottingham. You will integrate into a growing team and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities include project leadership, reviewing transport assessments, and providing expert advice throughout projects. Successful candidates will have significant experience in transport planning, excellent technical skills, and relevant qualifications. The role includes a hybrid working approach, emphasizing flexibility.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in the transport planning industry.
• Excellent technical and design skills, and report writing skills.
• Relevant degree in Transport Planning, Geography or Civil Engineering.
• Desirable use of AutoCAD, TRICS, JUNCTIONS and LINSIG.
• Experience of planning appeals is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead transport planning projects with Marrons planning colleagues or clients.
• Review Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and Feasibility Studies.
• Provide high level advice at project inception and throughout duration.
• Attend client meetings and public consultations.
• Contribute towards winning work and work collaboratively with teams.
