Job summary

Marrons is seeking a Senior Transport Planner to lead projects from a Birmingham-based or multi-disciplinary team in the UK. The role focuses on delivering transport planning studies across residential, commercial, energy and large-scale sites with autonomy and a collaborative culture.

You will mentor junior staff, contribute to business development and work within our expanding transport planning practice, with hybrid working options and office flexibility in Sheffield or nearby hubs.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport planning is required.
• Strong technical and design skills with report writing ability.
• Relevant degree in transport planning, geography or civil engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead transport planning projects and mentor junior staff.
• Review Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and feasibility studies.
• Provide high level advice at project inception and through delivery.
• Attend client meetings and public consultations.
• Contribute to winning new work and revenue.
• Collaborate with internal Marrons teams across disciplines.
