Job summary

Marrons is seeking a Senior Transport Planner to join our Sheffield/Nottingham hub. You will lead projects, mentor the team and work across residential, commercial and large-scale SUE schemes, influencing regional strategy.

You’ll review Transport Assessments and Travel Plans, provide high-level client guidance, and collaborate with our in-house planning, urban design and masterplanning specialists. Hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in the transport planning industry.
• Degree in Transport Planning, Geography or Civil Engineering.
• Strong report writing and technical design skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead transport planning projects and mentor junior staff.
• Review Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and feasibility studies.
• Provide high level client advice at project inception and throughout.
• Attend client meetings and public consultations.
• Contribute to winning new work and business development.
• Collaborate with in-house planning, urban design and masterplanning teams.
