Job summary

Corecom Technology Academy in Leeds invites applicants for an entry- to mid-level Technology Consultant track. You will begin with two years of instructor-led training across Agile/Scrum, databases, SQL, websites, APIs, programming, and software testing, then apply skills on client projects as a Test & Quality Engineer.

The program blends classroom and remote learning with on-site client work in London as needed.

About the role

It all starts with our introductory training courses, covering everything you need to know to get started in the world of consulting. Our in-depth training is full time and is delivered on a hybrid learning basis (classroom & and remote). You'll learn a lot quite quickly - it will be fast-paced, but enjoyable and highly engaging!

After the training period you'll have the opportunity to gain industry experience by working with our clients on their projects. For this specific role you'll be working as part of CQE, a boutique UK consultancy focused on software quality and engineering delivery, offering expert software, testing, and project consultancy alongside rapid team-scaling support to help organisations build delivery confidence and engineering maturity.

After a period of training you'll have the opportunity to gain industry experience by working with one or more of our clients as a Test & Quality Engineer, with 2-days per week on site in London. While doing this you'll get continued support from us and the client you work with.

Our programme is designed as a two-year journey, giving you the opportunity to build meaningful industry experience, develop your technical and professional skills, and establish a strong foundation for your career. At the end of the programme, there may be opportunities to move into a permanent role with your client, depending on individual performance and opportunities available within the client organisation at the time.
