Job summary

Evotec SE is seeking an Associate Scientist for a 12-month fixed-term contract at Alderley Park. The role involves supporting routine and bespoke ADME-related assays, handling compounds, data processing, and maintaining quality within timelines.

You will operate in a team, learning from experienced colleagues, with responsibilities spanning lab prep, equipment use, data analysis, and documentation while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a BSc in life science, with laboratory environment exposure.
• Highly self-motivated and personable.
• Able to communicate effectively within a team environment.
• Able to organise daily tasks, often under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Meticulous attention to detail, working to high standards and safety regulations.
• Able to use initiative to solve problems with team support.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor and maintain compounds, stock solutions, buffers and related materials.
• Validate, maintain and operate laboratory equipment for assay execution.
• Assist in routine and bespoke assays and data handling.
• Support data analysis and interpretation.
• Ensure lab areas and documentation meet SOPs and QC requirements.
• Contribute to safe working practices and timely task completion.
