Job summary

Cyprotex, part of Evotec, is hiring an Associate Scientist on a 12-month fixed term contract to join the Permeability & Transporters team at Alderley Park. The role supports routine assays and data processing in a busy lab environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a BSc in a life science subject and experience in a laboratory environment.
• Able to communicate effectively within a team and manage daily tasks under pressure.
• Meticulous attention to detail with high standard work and safety awareness.
• Able to use initiative to solve problems with team support.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor and maintain compounds, stock solutions, buffers and assay materials.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment to support assay execution and data analysis.
• Support execution of routine and bespoke assays and assist data interpretation.
• Ensure accurate documentation and report errors promptly to supervisor.
• Mentor trainees when required and participate in process improvements.
