Job summary

Evotec is recruiting an Associate Scientist on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract at Alderley Park. The role supports the Permeability & Transporters team with routine laboratory tasks and data processing.

The ideal candidate holds a BSc in life sciences, is highly motivated, and can work effectively in a team environment while maintaining high standards and safety. This position offers full-time hours in office-based lab work at Alderley Park.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a BSc in a life science subject; laboratory environment experience preferred.
• Highly self-motivated and personable.
• Able to communicate effectively within a team.
• Able to organise daily tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Meticulous attention to detail and adherence to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor and maintain compounds and buffers for assays.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment; support assay execution and sample analysis.
• Assist in data analysis and interpretation; ensure data is documented per SOPs.
• Support supervision of trainees when required.
• Participate in initiatives to improve group processes and efficiency.
