Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd in Oxford is seeking an Associate Quantity Surveyor or an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a people-first practice with a clear pathway to Partner as the business grows.

You'll work on a varied portfolio, delivering pre- and post-contract QS services while mentoring junior staff and helping to grow the Oxford team in a collaborative, supported environment. Hybrid working and career progression are emphasised.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction consultancy environment with strong pre- and post-contract QS experience.
• Excellent communication skills and commercial awareness.
• Ability to manage projects while mentoring others.
• MRICS qualification is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

The Role

You’ll work across a varied portfolio of construction projects, providing both pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services while helping to develop and strengthen the Oxford team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Quantity Surveying services from project inception through to completion.
• Manage financial and contractual aspects of construction projects.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Mentor and support junior Quantity Surveyors.
• Help develop and grow a high-performing Quantity Surveying team.
• Contribute to the continued success and growth of the Oxford office.

About You

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience working within a construction consultancy.
• Strong pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying experience.
• Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills.
• The confidence to manage projects while supporting and developing others.
• MRICS qualification is desirable but not essential.
