Qualifications

• 5-10 years of Quantity Surveyor experience required (PQS or contractor background).
• Experience in front-end estimating and cost planning.
• Strong understanding of MMC, JCT, and NEC contract frameworks.
• In-depth understanding of MMC, JCT, and NEC contract frameworks.
• Track record in full lifecycle cost management.
• Professional qualification (RICS or equivalent preferred).
• Degree or HNC-level qualification in a related field.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and draft procurement reports.
• Deliver detailed cost planning and present final estimates to clients.
• Lead tendering and procurement processes.
• Monitor and control post-contract cost variances and change processes.
• Perform accurate cost checks and valuations throughout large-scale projects.
• Prepare and present monthly post-contract cost reports.
• Contribute to value engineering and final account negotiations.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers and consultants across all stages.
